We are passionate about offering young people a safe environment where they can feel comfortable to be themselves and grow into healthy adults.

Looking after the mental health of young people is essential as research shows that about three-quarters of common mental health problems emerge before the age of 25, more than 40% of year 12 students report symptoms of anxiety and depression, and suicide is the leading cause of death for people aged 5 – 17 years old.

At Youth Psych Hub, we focus on five important values.

Youth Psych Hub understands the importance of having a safe and comfortable space for young people as they might find it hard reaching out for support from a professional and may feel that the therapy space is a little overwhelming

That is why our clinicians initially focus on building a connection with the young person so they can discuss what is happening in their lives and seek support around their difficulties.

We also recognise that young people function within multiple systems including their family, school, and other community teams. With this in mind we work with the families, schools and any other individual involved in the care of the young person to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes.

Our highly skilled psychologists at Youth Psych Hub support children, adolescents and young people.

Adolescents

Youth Psych Hub provides a safe space for young people to share their experiences and concerns.

We help adolescents to navigate through the complex developmental challenges they face such as self-esteem and image concerns, unhealthy eating habits, family relationship difficulties, and exploring gender and sexuality.
